The 97 seems to be the faster and better handling of the two cars. The are both superb looking cars, although I think my favourite is the 97, due to the JPS livery, although the Camel livery is also very good.

Nice review, Great video! One detail that drives me bonkers you didn't mention, why are the vents under the windscreen on the bonnet missing? Seems an odd detail to leave off. That strange mirror thing you mentioned on the roof is a periscope (of sorts) that was added to the real "wet nellie" not for looks but so the divers inside could actually see where they where going. It's kind of ugly and looks out of place, also looks easily broken off on a slot car.

I have received my car from supplier here in the Czech Republic and the packaging states that it is DPR so I purchased the relevant chip, however, it's totally impossible to carry out the conversion. Having contacted Hornby in UK, I was informed that car was not designed to run on a digital track only on the old analogue track. So my question is are you running it on an analogue track or a digital track? Mike

yes the apps is dead and only thing worth is the hilt. I cut the rubber off and just display it with the hilt and it the cheapest replica I have.

Great review, loved your excitement throughout the review. Wife has recently bought one. Quite impressive and looks really nice. The app works nicely. It’s a shame you cannot turn off or dim the light as it can be a distraction at night. You can of course resort to tape but that ruins the look. Not sure why this is not a default for all electrical appliances.

great review, never seen that car before,the detailing is on point with both colour schemes,would have been nice it they had lights, but still they look great,your creativity with the videos just gets better and better,i do hope you manage to get the digital issue sorted so we can see you racing more than 2 cars,,look forward to your next video

these amg gt3 dont arf motor, they are very quick, i have one in my set, they do hold the track well,once you get a pitlane installed racing will be revolutionised, this is a all together great car.a great review and video. wait until you get your hands a ktm xbow

Another great video of another fine looking car. I don’t think you can have too many AMG Mercedes cars, that long bonnet is iconic and each livery looks great on the car. Great stuff again!!
